Biratnagar: Eco Titans teams from Vellore Institute of Technology Presented their concept of improving fuel efficiency with Energy minister Janardan Sharma “Prabhakar”.
They conducted educational seminars in the DPS Biratnagar and Kathmandu University . Anirudh S team Captain, Himanshu Agrawal team member and a native of Nepal and Sharang Kolathur Team Member presented that the sustenance of any future starts with educating the present.
With an aim to inspire the formation of a team like their own, team eco titans set foot in Nepal and deservedly succeeded in the process. According to Himanshu Agrawal, their very own member from Nepal: “We want to help the country take part in Shell Eco Marathon and find their own ways to improve fuel efficiency. We felt this need to be present in the country as the fuel prices are increasing day by day and the crisis is always there.
The aim is to build a similar team from Kathmandu University and provide them technical guidance in their first season of participation in Shell Eco Marathon. We would like to thank Daniel Sir and the University for allowing us this opportunity to help them build a futuristic car.” The team presented their concept as well as their vision in a meeting with the Energy minister of Nepal – Honorable Janardan Sharma “Prabhakar”.
The thought of “what will happen when there is no fuel remaining in the next 20-30 years?”. The team aims to search ways to improve fuel efficiency and showcases it to the world through its outreach events. Eco Titans teams has been contucting global competition called Shell Eco Marathon – a yearly event organised by Shell Global.
